We are celebrating our triumphs at last night’s Minnesota Newspaper Association & Minnesota News Media Institute ceremony, where our achievements in various categories were recognized.
- 1st in Best Magazine Article
- 1st in Best Use of Social Media for our Badass membership campaign and video (directed by Ember Berg)
- 1st in Portrait and Personality Photography
- 2nd in Best Magazine Photography
- 3rd in Use of Photography as a Whole
- 3rd in Lynn Smith Community Leadership Award for our community-led coverage of gender-based violence

For 2025 coverage, Minnesota Women’s Press earned a community leadership award, three photography awards, and four editorial awards, including for coverage of social issues and for our Spring 2025 “Know Your Rights” special section supported by Unidos MN. Our publisher was named Journalist of the Year by Violence Free Minnesota for gender-based violence coverage.
