April 16: Democracy Protectors Outside El Salvador Consulate in Saint Paul
An estimated 500 people showed up for the Hands OFF! Coalition protest at the El Salvadoran Consulate on April 16. Protectors demanded that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia be released back to his home in Maryland.
Protectors drew awareness to the fact that Trump is saying he wants to create five more facilities in El Salvador to send the “home growns” — U.S. citizens — to the concentration camps there.
The Hands Off! Coalition consists of MN 50501, Indivisible Twin Cities, and the Women’s March Minnesota.
