Sarah Whiting won third place in Portrait & Personality photography for this image.
Mikki Morrissette won first place for “Best Magazine Article” for this story:
Mikki won second place for “Human Interest” with this story:
Our new Press Forward Minnesota grant, as well as underwriting and Badass memberships, will allow us to remain focused in 2025 on statewide conversations and stories about gender-based violence, mental health, and housing. We will continue to develop the Collective Health series to share first-person narratives about social issues that impact all communities, and how women are leading those conversations, solutions, and action steps.
