Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care invites you to join us for a conversation between two of the preeminent voices in end-of-life care, Dr. BJ Miller and Dr. Sunita Puri entitled “What Matters Most at the End of Life?” moderated by Minnesota’s own Cathy Wurzer.
Both Dr. Miller and Dr. Puri are champions of a patient-centered care that focuses on what matters most to individuals as they face serious illness or the end of their lives. In practice they work to help patients have meaningful experiences and quality time filled with what is important to them, rather than merely preventing death.
Dr. Puri and Dr. Miller have compelling life stories that have brought them to specialize in palliative care; through their writing, speaking, and advocacy, they have become internationally recognized leaders. MNHPC is proud to bring them to Minnesota and eager to share their unique voices.
As part of the Matters of Death and Life Conversation Series, this event seeks to engage a wide audience in thinking and talking about the end of life. We believe that living with an awareness of our own mortality can help us to have richer, more meaningful lives. This event is open to all and intended for a wide audience. Dr. Miller and Dr. Puri are engaging, inspiring speakers who see death not as a medical event but a universal experience that can teach us much about how to live. We know this will be an uplifting, life affirming evening. Please join us!
