Life on the Southside

In this virtual event, African-American elders share memories and stories about life in the integrated middle-class community on the Southside of Minneapolis before and after 35W. This program will highlight the narratives showcased in the exhibit, Human Toll: A Public History of 35W, now on display at the Hennepin History Museum (free admission to the museum through 12/31/21). Speakers include: Mr. Louis Moore, Mr. Anthony Scott, Mrs. Nelda Huggins, and moderator, Dr. Ernest Lloyd.
