Library Friends Author Talk with Nancy Pearl

The Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries will be hosting a Virtual Author Talk event on November 10. The public is invited to spend an evening with writer and “America’s Librarian” Nancy Pearl. Proceeds support Ramsey County Library and will be used for programming at the public libraries in Maplewood, Mounds View, New Brighton, North St. Paul, Roseville, Shoreview, and White Bear Lake.

Bestselling author, librarian, literary critic, and devoted reader Nancy Pearl regularly speaks about the importance and pleasure of reading at libraries and other groups around the world. She can be heard on NPR’s Morning Edition and KWGS-FM in Tulsa, Oklahoma, discussing her favorite books and making book recommendations. Her monthly television show on the Seattle Channel, Book Lust with Nancy Pearl, features interviews with authors, poets, and other literary figures. Nancy even has her own action figure – the Archee McPhee Librarian Action Figure was modeled after her!

Zoom opens with Welcome Session starting at 6:10 pm, Program from 6:30-7:30 pm. Fees per household/computer are $50 for the general public or $25 for Friends Members.
