- Free

Community Fun Day is an annual event co-hosted by Metro State University’s Library and the Dayton’s Bluff branch of the St. Paul Public Library. 645 East 7th Street on Saint Paul’s East Side.

The FREE outdoor event for Twin Cities youth and their families will feature free books courtesy of The Free Book Buggie, hands-on STEAM learning activities for tweens, lawn games, arts and crafts, light food, and much more (Please check the event website as new programming is being added). It will conclude with a live puppet show performed by Open Eye Theatre at 1pm; guests are invited to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show!

This year, Metro State is celebrating 20 years of partnership with Saint Paul Public Library. When constructed in 2004, it was the first joint-use library in Minnesota to house both an academic library and a public library, and is currently one of only seven such libraries in the United States.
