The Artist’s Way is broken up into 12 Chapters focusing on different aspects of self: Safety, Identity, Power, Integrity, Possibility, Abundance, Connection, Strength, Compassion, Self-protection, Autonomy, and Faith. During our sessions we’ll discuss any inspirations, confusion, or challenges we’ve discovered. Supplementary materials relating to each week’s theme will provide different approaches, examples, and resources. This course is for anyone with an innate capability to enjoy some form of creativity. If you find yourself struggling emotionally, feeling creatively blocked, lacking inspiration, and want to focus your time and energy on improving your sense of self worth, renewing hope, and gentle healing, you’re welcome to join us just as you are. Come share this journey of transformative personal growth and authentic connection.

Book: The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity by Julia Cameron:
FACILITATOR: Carly Swenson is a professional intuitive artist and the communications strategist for Wisdom Ways. She received her BFA in Visual Arts with an Art History minor from Bemidji State University. As an intuitive artist, her work is the result of embracing the beautiful uncertainty of the creative process. Swenson is a published freelance writer and her visual journals have appeared in nationally distributed art magazines. Her art has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and internationally. Through her work with Wisdom Ways, she hopes to promote creativity as a means of self exploration, freedom, and healing. She’s also passionate about intersectional feminism, social justice, racial equity, and empathy advocacy.
