Minnesota Women’s Press hosted a Facebook Live event on June 8, 5pm, with Magers & Quinn bookstore for Pride Month. Minnesota Women’s Press editor moderated the discussion about the struggles for justice and security, the tendency for binary thinking, and where we find hope and resilience in the sorrows and pain. Why do people have such a desire to categorize everyone into one of two things? What can we do to challenge that thinking?
For 2025 coverage, Minnesota Women’s Press earned a community leadership award, three photography awards, and four editorial awards, including for coverage of social issues and for our Spring 2025 “Know Your Rights” special section supported by Unidos MN. Our publisher was named Journalist of the Year by Violence Free Minnesota for gender-based violence coverage.
