The Modernist Eye

Artist Barbara McIlrath shares her visions of the seasonal changes in the Mississippi River corridor and the landscape near Lake Pepin with her vibrant art. These Shining Lives

"These Shining Lives" by Melanie Marnich, directed by Shalee Coleman, is an historical fiction period drama delving into the lives and trial of the 1920 Radium Girls who painted radium numbers onto clock faces, contracted radium poisoning, and fought for justice in one of the very first workers' rights cases in the U.S. 7:30 p.m. Pay what you can. Heidi Barr reads from her new book that illustrates how the cycles of the earth have informed her everyday life. Body & Sold

Chain Reaction Theatre presents a play written by Deborah Lake Fortson, based on interviews with sex trafficking survivors. Molly Maher & Dusty Heart

Molly Maher brings a folksy rock sound with compelling depth and soul. She has shared a stage with the likes of Lucinda Williams and Los Lobos. Like a Girl & Vinyasa

Lizzie Wortham's "Like a Girl" collection exhibits oil paintings of abstracted representations of girls and young women, based on her childhood photos and memories. Anupama Pasricha's "Vinyasa" exhibit is a display of contemporary fashion grounded in sustainability in a variety of mediums from recycled sarees to hand-crafted Indian textiles. Catherine G.
