Twined basketry

The fiber art of local artisan Tressa Sularz will be featured in a solo exhibition called "Inner Gold," which refers to "the highest value in the human psyche. Wild lands

The lyrical portraits written by Terry Tempest Williams examine the grandeur of national parks and why each of them matters to the soul of America. "The Hour of Land: A personal topography of America's National Parks" was named as one of the Washington Post's notable books of the year and is part memoir, part natural history and part social critique. Swedish still life

Large-scale photo-realism paintings by Sweden's Karin Broos will be featured in a solo exhibition of 55 paintings. Her perspective of family is often set among the lakes and forests of her home in Värmland. Chromatic construction

Local artists Mary Bergherr and Laura Wennstrom use bold colors and shapes to individually compose structure. Bergherr's painting is a journey of self-discovery responding to life's conflicting dualities and contrasts. Wennstrom's art with gathered materials that are cast off, forgotten and profound represents the intersection of her life with people she encounters. Prayers for Pussies

This conversation presented by the experimental arts production company Free Black Dirt examines the responsibility of artists to provide vision and resistance through their work. Guest artists will reflect on creative practices in queerness, Afro-futurism, and the erotic as healing the trauma of white supremacy, colonization, gender oppression and rape culture. "Prayers for Pussies" is hosted by Junauda Petrus and Erin Sharkey.
