Wanderlust" by J.M.Culver

Northeast Minneapolis-based artist J.M. Culver's new series of oil paintings was inspired by her daydreaming desire to escape the long winter. MPR News' The Thread Live is a multi-platformed book talk series. Gadfly Theater produces queer and feminist art. Dancing on the Belly of the Beast

The Off-Leash Area dance show includes four principal anchors and 20 local dancers who have lost their parents. Plant-dyed paints

Artist Emily Donovan creates homemade dyes from native plants to create unique colors for her paintings. Her technique is similar to batik, using dye and beeswax on paper, and has created a series she sees as a type of botany journal.
